I am not currently running any classes in 2022 as I need new premises to give me the space to run them. I will be actively looking to move in the autumn and hope to be set up for classes in 2023.
I normally run day classes for up to 3 people at a time.
They will be from 10 am until 4 pm with lunch and refreshments included.

I am moving home and workshop in February this year and so in 2023 I am pleased to once again be offering some dates for classes.
I have yet to determine the dates on offer and have a list of customers who have expressed an interest previously. If you wish to be added to that list please contact me.
I will be able to offer beginner day classes for up to 3 people which will include safety instructions, the use of safety equipment and the opportunity to observe me followed by my direct instruction and assistance to make a simple sculpture -such as a leaf chime -which will be sent on to you after finishing in the kiln.
For groups of 2 or more I can offer a small discount per person.
Lunch and refreshments are also included.

I start by running through the safety aspects.
A demonstration of how to use the torch will follow and then each student will get an opportunity to make something fairly straightforward such as leaves.
We can then introduce coloured glass and I will show you different ways of introducing colour.
Time allowing we can move on to melting rods together and pulling out simple branches which can be then used to hang your leaves from to create a leaf chime.

I have had customers expressing an interest in coming to see me work in my workshop. This is something I would also consider if there is enough interest in paying to come and see me demonstrate and answer questions. Please let me know if this would interest you.
